The Chatra Kalyan Scholarship is designed to encourage and assist meritorious students of India in pursuing their academic goals. These Terms & Conditions govern eligibility, application, selection, and disbursement. By applying, the applicant agrees to comply with all rules herein.
Students enrolled in school education, diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, or professional courses may apply, subject to scholarship category guidelines. Distance, online, or correspondence courses are considered if duly recognised.
Applications must be submitted only through the official Chatra Kalyan Scholarship portal. Offline applications will not be accepted unless specifically announced.
Applicants must ensure that all information is true, accurate, and complete. Incorrect or misleading details may result in rejection or cancellation at any stage.
Applications must be submitted before the closing date mentioned on the portal. Late, incomplete, or partially submitted applications will not be considered.
All documents must be clear, legible, and valid.
All applications are subject to strict document verification. The scholarship authority reserves the right to request original documents and conduct physical or digital verification. Submission of forged or fake documents leads to immediate disqualification and possible legal action.

The Chatra Kalyan Selection Committee’s decision shall be final and binding. No correspondence regarding selection or rejection will be entertained.
The scholarship amount, duration, and benefits vary depending on course type, academic level, and category of scholarship. The scholarship may be one‑time assistance or renewable on a yearly basis (subject to performance).
Renewal, if applicable, depends on satisfactory academic progress and compliance with scholarship rules. Failure to maintain required academic standards may result in discontinuation.
Funds are transferred directly to the student’s bank account. The authority is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect bank details, bank processing issues, or technical errors beyond control.
Cancellation without notice if false information is detected, funds are misused, or rules are violated. The authority may also demand a refund of the scholarship amount if misuse is proven.
A student can apply for only one scholarship under Chatra Kalyan at a time. Multiple applications may lead to rejection of all submissions.
Chatra Kalyan reserves the right to modify eligibility criteria, change scholarship benefits, suspend or discontinue the scholarship scheme at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon publication on the portal.
Personal data collected will be used only for scholarship processing. Information will not be shared with third parties except as required by law.
Chatra Kalyan shall not be responsible for technical issues during application submission, loss of data due to internet or system failures, or any indirect or consequential loss to the applicant.
